What is something that people do in traffic that really bothers you?

I don't think i'm the nicest driver in the world.  I can be a pretty big jerk at times.  It really grinds my gears, however, when someone lamentably disregards rules.   Like a motorcyclist who rides between cars, or someone who changes lanes by going between cars (crazy i know, but it happens).   That's just dangerous and without a doubt the best way to get me to be even more of a jerk than i already can be.

What’s something you intended to do today, but didn’t? Why not?

Just one thing?  I would say my biggest regret for today is that i didn't sleep in.  This whole week i've been tired every single day.  My niece being here made it worse.  Not because she tired be out; but because i feel like i never gave her the attention she deserved or wanted.  I will make it up to her when she comes up later in July.  That's another thing i didn't do; take care of paying for the summer camp she will be attending, but i'm thinking of planning a day outing with her on that Saturday before she goes.
I digress.....I didn't sleep in because there were a ton of things to do like taking my car in and getting my treadmill delivered and put together (YAY treadmill).   I also feel like i won't get any sleep till it's sleepy time.   Maybe I'll make up for my missed sleep tomorrow.

What's something your parents use to say to you as a child that you promised yourself you'd never say - but now you catch yourself saying all the time?

One thing that they use to say to me.....that's difficult since i don't have a kid in which i would say things too like that.   I suppose i have my niece and nephew and i say things to them.  It's not so much something that i say but more something that i do.   I tend to not explain things, thinking they won't understand.  I still see them as my babies and as young children, when they are obviously growing up (to fast).  I suppose to phrase "I'll tell you later" which basically means "I'll never get around to actually telling you" or "You don't need to know and i'll just wait till you forget".

What's one of your nicknames? What do you prefer to be called?

I prefer to be called by my name if it's by a friend.    If i don't know you, especially if you're younger than 25, calls me Mrs. Howe.   Mrs. Jones works too or if you want to be very accurate about it; the name is Mrs. Jones-Howe.   That's a mouth full so the other two work well for me.  I grew up respecting my elders until they did something to lose my respect so i expect the same courtesy.  I don't think respect is something that is earned and then given.  I think it's something that is given and then proven.  It angers me to see children so disrespectful these days but i know that it is a two way street; Children should be respected as well.
My other nickname, which I use online mostly,  comes from long college nights and a love affair with Ewoks.  Cute, small, and ditzy....apparently that's me. ...The Lil Ewok.

What's something you've won and how did you win it?

This was difficult since i had to recall any kind of award or trophy that i've ever gotten.  At first thinking of all that was just sad, since i can justify how it was all default.  You don't get 1st place for perfect attendance, and in summer camp they will make up an award so everyone gets something.  I got a Arts & Crafts award in camp because i really loved it.  The point that my schedule was changed so i had it 2 times a day because i would cry otherwise....so i got that award.....not for the crying tho.
If i had to say i won something i would say that i was chosen to be the Prom Queen at my High School Prom.  My friends got together and voted me in.  I was not expecting it.  I was actually helping someone else rally to get it, since i never thought that i would get something like that.  I suppose i got it because my friends liked me...(?)   I don't recall doing anything special to anyone in particular or anything like that but for some reason they decided to vote for me.  Later there would be talk that i didn't actually win, but was given it because the winner wasn't there or was bad or something like that, which hurt me at first.    It took a while to realize that for whatever reason, my friends still choose me.....I wish i could do it over again...i would try to be less embarrassed.

Do you squeeze the toothpaste tube or roll it?

I would be lying if I said this is something I never thought about. I have actually put countless hours into fixing tubes of toothpaste. Not just my own; but friends, family, sometimes strangers. It's really not the question of squeeze vs roll, but rather making sure is flattened as you go up or down (as the case maybe).
Generally, I roll it as I have this handy little plastic thing that let's me flatten and roll the tube with just a little twist.  It's quite handy and pink, but when getting the actual toothpaste out of the container I do actually squeeze the sides of the tube. It bothers me too see a tube of toothpaste not flattened at the bottom and rolled as you go up.
Admittedly, I'm crazy
